They were also winners of the 2011 Challenge of Excellence Award for the NYS 4-H Shooting Sports Program. Dairy Judging Contest
The C Team of Jade Atherton, Jessica Lawson and Steven Leach, Canisteo Valley 4-H Stars was 2nd overall with Jade placing 6th individual and Jessica placing 8th individual.
The B Team of Greg Fox, Justin Bennett of the Forever Farmers 4-H Club and Bryce Warriner, Dairy Dreamers 4-H Club; and Shelby Wade, Independent member placed 9th.
The A Team of Kelsey Warriner and Paige Demun both of the Dairy Dreamers 4-H Club and Ashlynn Bennett, Forever Farmers 4-H Club placed 7th.

Steuben County Novice Team consisting of Ashlee Zschoche, Country Critters 4-H Club; and Brandon Knoll and Blaine Knoll of the Country Bunch 4-H Club was 1st

Grooming and Handling - Rachel Eckler was Reserve Champion and also receiving blue ribbons were Jenna Brokaw; Samantha Towner, Willing Workers 4-H Club; Jill DeWispelaere; Garret Brokaw; Uriah Riggs, Four Winds 4-H Club; and Devin Kiehle, Four Winds 4-H Club.
Obedience Jill DeWispelaere was Reserve Champion and also receiving blue ribbons were Tho Lee; Ariana Peisher, Country Bunch 4-H Club; Jenna Brokaw; and Andrew Mang, Four Winds 4-H Club..

Steuben County 4-H was well represented at the recent New York State Fair in Syracuse.
