Find out how to create a strong foundation for financial success

Information overload and busy lives make successful financial management a real challenge for most people today. Understanding the basic building blocks of sound financial management is easier when picturing it in the shape of a pyramid. An in-depth look at this financial pyramid will be held on six consectuive weekly sessions, entitled, Pyramid Approach to Financial Health. The sessions are FREE!

"Don't look at a budget as something holding you back," Reigelsperger says. "Instead, see it as something steering you in the right direction." She says she is surprised how many people she encounters who have no idea where their money goes. "When it comes to money, you have choices. Smart spending is not about depriving yourself of your favorite things. It's about seeing all your options so you can find the money for the important things."

The six-week series will continue with sessions on Credit and Debt, Banking, Home Ownership & Life insurance, Estate Planning, Financial Planning and Asset Protection. Each building block relies on the strength and stability of the personal finance strategies used in the blocks below it.

Partners who have offered these workshops in the past include Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County, Five Star Bank, United Professional Associates, Inc., Arbor Housing & Development, and Attorney Patrick Roth of Corning. Participants can attend one or all of these free informational workshops.
